Daisy has been working with Ms. Jen the longest. At about 20 years old, she is wise and an excellent teacher. She expects her riders to ride properly and this quailty is wonderful for a lesson horse. Daisy is a black and white Paint mare with a background of Western Pleasure.
Three Socks is our reliable, sweet, red roan gelding. His job is to pack the little kids around during lessons. He loves attention, especially from small kids, and loves food! He is about as honest and reliable as one can expect a horse to be.
Chico is a retired reining horse. He is fun to ride and listens to his rider well. If you know a little about the proper cues to use, you can accomplish some fun manuevers like spins and sliding stops. He takes care of his riders and makes sure they use their cues properly!
Texas is the newest addition to the farm. He's a short, stout, tank of a horse with a lot of personality. He is a sweetheart but can be strong willed! He is an amazing ride for confident beginners and up.
Badger is an amazing addition to the farm. He is currently on lease to the farm as a lesson horse and he is absolutely amazing at his job. From the kids to the adults, Badger helps all who ride him to learn the fundamentals of horsemanship.
Shesa is a blessing to our farm. She is a favorite amongst many students and can be described as having "more go than whoa." She loves to move out when asked, but is quiet and safe for even a tiny tot to be around.
John Wayne recently joined our farm from a rescue in Phoenix. We are excited to help him gain weight and learn to enjoy his new life as a lesson horse. He is a sweet, gentle, old gelding that fits right in at our farm.
Pokey is Ms. Jen's personal horse. You will see her around the farm a lot though as Ms. Jen regularly rides her. She is a young, sorrel, solid Paint mare. Pokey was bred by Kim and Jim Wolf of Rocking 45 Farm, LLC.
Sierra is our small, bay, mare that is now retired from regular lessons due to arthritis. She is a little quirky (aren't we all though) but she knows her job and does it well.
Abby crossed the rainbow bridge in April 2025. She was loved till the last second and will be greatly missed.
Joey crossed the rainbow bridge early in 2024. We are so grateful for his years of service teaching kids to ride. Joey will be greatly missed!
